With over 50 years of martial arts experience in sambo, judo, BJJ, and wrestling, Andrei teaches both adults and children how to compete at a high level and how to defend themselves.

He served in the Red Army as a paratrooper in the Spetsnaz. He has also graduated the University of Moscow of Physical Education and holds a degree as a coach, trainer, and in sports medicine. He was also the sports massage therapist of the Boston Bruins for 11 years.

Andrei has also been inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2016. His unique combination of experience in self defense and martial arts as well as a comprehensive knowledge of anatomy makes him an excellent coach.
