SAFE SPORT

SafeSport & Athlete Safety

The U.S. Center for SafeSport was created to address the issue of abuse in sport. The Center works with National Governing Bodies, including U.S. Ski & Snowboard, to enforce the SafeSport Code and the Federal Safe Sport Act. The policies in both the Code and Federal Law are aimed at protecting athletes from harm and abuse and apply to all Olympic and amateur sporting disciplines. U.S. Ski & Snowboard strives to provide a safe environment in which athletes can train and compete, free from abuse and inappropriate behavior. Please review U.S. Ski & Snowboard's Athlete Safety policies, the SafeSport Code and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies information and join us in sustaining a culture of safety. We all are part of promoting a culture of safety through education, listening and speaking up.
